Programme

Welcome to our all-inclusive French immersion programme where language learning ​meets cultural exploration in the picturesque setting of Pays de la Loire. What sets us ​apart is the authentic and constant practice of French language skills in real life ​contexts. Over the course of seven days, immerse yourself in intensive morning lessons ​tailored to your proficiency level and designed to accelerate your French competency ​and boost your confidence.

However, our programme is much more than just language lessons; it is a journey of ​exploration and discovery through the rich tapestry of French culture. In the afternoons, ​you will have the opportunity to explore charming towns and villages, historical ​landmarks and indulge in the exquisite gastronomy of the region. Each excursion offers ​a glimpse into the authentic essence of French life.

DAY 1

Airport pick up at Charles de Gaulle airport, Paris.

Drive back to residential accommodation, Gorron.

Induction, local visit and sample regional fayre at the ‘Crêperie du Menhir’, Gorron

Morning: Lessons

Afternoon: Visit to Mayenne

Evening: Quiz

DAY 3

Morning: Lessons

Afternoon: Trekking - ‘Sentier de la Colmont’

Evening: Local cinema

DAY 4

Day trip to Paris

Visits to Le Louvre Museum/Eiffel Tower and Montmartre

Morning: Lessons

Afternoon: French cookery lesson

Evening: Boardgames

Afternoon: Visit to Mont St. Michel

Drop off at Charles de Gaulle airport, Paris.

Fee for the all-inclusive 7 days (6 nights) immersion programme:

7750 AED (US$ 2,123) Excluding flights

Full payment must be received a minimum of 30 days before the start of your stay

PAYMENT TERMS

Deposit to secure your stay: 2750 AED (US$ 750) to be paid at the time of booking

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Option 1: Remaining balance of 5000 AED (US$ 1,361) to have been received as a single payment a minimum of 30 days before your scheduled arrival date.

Option 2: Two instalments of 2500 AED (US$ 685) to have been received as follows:

i) 2500 AED a minimum of 60 days before your scheduled arrival date.

ii) 2500 AED a minimum of 30 days before your scheduled arrival date.

We will naturally discuss individual arrangements prior to you booking the all-inclusive 'Connexionfrance' experience. However, please note that additional activities/requests may be subject to an ​adjustment in the cost of the programme offered.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges will apply:

• Cancellations more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date - loss of deposit.
  
• Cancellation within 7-30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date - 50% of programme cost.
  
• Cancellation within less than 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date - 100% of programme cost
  

All cancellation requests must be made in writing by the person who submitted the booking form.

All eligible refunds will be processed within 10 working days following receipt of cancellation requests.

Accommodation

The accommodation offers a comfortable and cosy stay in a typical French provincial ​home. Situated on a quiet street, you will enjoy the tranquil atmosphere while being ​close to all amenities and the town centre. Your room has a traditional French oak ​ceiling and wooden floor and overlooks the beautifully landscaped and secluded ​garden. It is airy and spacious with a modern en-suite shower room. The house also ​features a unique historical touch with a bunker dating from the Second World War ​located in one of the outdoor storage areas. This intriguing relic offers a glimpse into the ​past, adding a fascinating element to your stay.

Meals

Enjoy full board during your stay, starting each day with a delightful continental ​breakfast featuring items fresh from the local French boulangerie. Lunch and dinner ​offer a varied menu that caters to your dietary needs, featuring World cuisine with a ​particular focus on French gastronomy and local dishes. Additionally, there is the ​opportunity to purchase snacks and other typical French products, ensuring a truly ​immersive culinary experience.
